Agnes’s venture into the floral industry began unexpectedly during her college years. Selling flowers at a film viewing event called “Under the Stars” ignited a spark that would eventually blossom into Blooms by Agi. What started as simple hand-tied arrangements and single-stemmed flowers quickly gained traction, leading Agnes to expand her brand while still a senior student.

Transitioning from part-time work at a restaurant to full-time entrepreneurship wasn’t without its challenges. Agnes found herself wearing multiple hats, from marketing and purchasing to logistics. However, with determination and the support of a dedicated team, she navigated the complexities of business ownership, establishing Blooms by Agi as a prominent name in the floral industry.

Navigating Setbacks with Resilience

Like many entrepreneurs, Agnes encountered setbacks along her journey, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Supply chain disruptions and economic uncertainties posed significant challenges to her business. However, her resilience and adaptability shone through as she diversified her offerings, introducing preserved flowers and frames to sustain her business while supporting her staff and community.

One of Agnes's most significant challenges was finding balance amidst the demands of entrepreneurship and personal wellness. Overwhelmed by busyness and neglecting her own well-being, she realized the importance of prioritizing self-care. Taking up running as a form of self-expression, she embarked on a transformative fitness journey, gradually building her endurance and reclaiming her health and vitality.
